We had dreamed for a long time (ha!) of finally being able to visit the Emerald Dream in WoW, in a real manifestation, not as a small instance. Consequently, Patch 10.2 “Guardians of the Dream” is a celebration for many fans, not only fans of the story, but also collectors. Because the dream world is also home to countless creatures and quirks. That’s why we show you the highlights in the frames, pets and toys sectors. Most of them are available for special achievements (such as achievements and quests) or in exchange for special currencies: dream infusions and seed flowers (in Talisa’s case, whisper flower). You can loot and earn these coins through a variety of activities in the new Emerald Dream zone. But Moon Priestess Lasara also uses supplies from the Dragon Islands. The three merchant NPCs are in the main camp near the young world tree Amidrassil in the center of the area.
WoW Patch 10.2: Our Favorite Mounts
So many dream frames!
At this point we would like to fill you with images, but we refrain and refer to a separate article. Because: For many mounts there will also be a transparent ghost shape. Like the magical Ottuk Deceiverto Thought wing -Ray, the transparent magma mammoth Mommythe ethereal Lighter salad -Salamander, the star streaker -The deer and the cat-raptor hybrid Kraller.
They all glow green and are based on designs you already met in Dragonflight or, at the latest, in patch 10.2. To unlock said mount, you must go to the main camp in Amidrassil. Merchant Elianna offers it in exchange for the new 10.2 Dream Infusion currency if you have already unlocked the corresponding mount (for example, a non-spirit Ottuk). By the way, the currency is available to reach your dream energy limit in the new area. Just do the activities there, almost everything contributes to it. However, you need rank 5 with the new Dream Guardians reputation faction.
Anu’relos, expulsion of the flame
The impressive Flame Owl Anu’relos is only available for Mythic Raiders. Because it drops when you kill Fyrakk on the highest difficulty level. She is special in two ways: first, she will also be available in druid form, which you can already check out in the PTR barber. And secondly, the Festival of Burning Feathers is the first Dragonflight mount that is not a dragon, but is still able to ride it nimbly! Consequently, successful Mythic players will be able to show off their achievements as ultra-fast flyers in the future.
Blooming Capricorn Dragon
Right at the beginning of the new update, the druids of the Emerald Dream give us this colorful little one. After a few introductory quests, we unlock the mount on Emerald Dream, which joins our other mounted dragons and offers several customization options. This way you can turn this pangolin into a very individual companion that will stand out from the rest of the players.
Dreaming of deer in many colors.
The impressive Suntouched Dream Stag awaits players who have achieved fame level 17 with the Dream Guardians. Moon Priestess Lasara then sells this mount for the Dragon Island Supplies currency, which has been available since the launch of Dragonflight. You need 1200 units and then you can ride the fabulous mount.
Of course, there are color variants: the Moon Dream Deer blue, which you can buy at Lasara for the same price. And the revived dream deer and the blooming dream deer, which you can get for a flower seed from the botanist Talisa in the main Amidrassil camp. If you unlock one of these mounts, you also meet the requirements for the Ghostly Star Streaker variant.
For cat lovers: dream saber
This stunning new saber-toothed cat also comes in a variety of shades. For the achievement “Glory of the Dream Raider” there is the purple version Shadow Twilight Dream Saber, while for the Evening Sun Dream Saber you must bring a flowering seed to the botanist Talisa. The morning flower dream sable shines in turquoise, for which a seed flower is also needed. If you’re lucky, you’ll get Mount Winternight’s Dream Saber in cold blue from a dream seed chest in the new Emerald Dream area.
Dreamclaws are essentially a cross between a big cat and a raptor: fantastic to some, strange to others. If you are one of the first, you can be happy. Because these mounts can be found in various colors in patch 10.2. For one seed flower each, Talisa offers the green Riptide Dreamclaw and the Snowy Dreamclaw (in wine red and turquoise). With the quest “A Little Hope is Always Good”, you can obtain the ocher-colored red-yellow fall variant Dream Claw.
Raid Boss Fyrakk as a Riding Dragon
Another boss joins your collection as a mount. Like Storm Eater Raszageth, the final boss Fyrakk will also end up in the raiders’ Pokéball; This requires a heroic victory that includes the achievement “Ahead of Time”; In mythical is the fire owl Anu’relos. Aside from the heroic Shadow Flame form, Fyrakk’s “normal” design also appears as a rare manuscript.
Vicious Moon Beast (PvP)
Hard-working PvP players will receive heavily armored lunar beasts, suitable for Alliance or Horde, of course. So master enough arena battles with a rating of 2400 or higher to ride these awesome mounts!
Green Gladiator’s Crawling Dragon (PvP)
If you really work hard during your PvP visits, you can get a cool dragon. Like PvP Moon Beasts, the Dark Green Creeping Dragon relies on heavy armor and also has shiny magical effects. What more do you want? To get it, you must earn 50 3v3 PvP victories at the Gladiator rank.
Deep Green Panzerdon (Mythical+)
The most diligent visitors to Mythic+ get another color variant of the Panzerdon with the new seasonal achievement as Keystone Master of Season 3. After the icy and fiery versions, you will receive the Deep Green Panzerdon in Season 3 if you achieve at least one rating Mythic+ 2000 points.
